GLP-1 Weight Loss Support

Emotional & Behavioural Support for Ozempic, Wegovy and Other GLP-1 Medications

GLP-1 medications such as Ozempic and Wegovy have changed the landscape of weight-loss support. For many people, they bring relief after years of feeling stuck — quietening food noise, reducing cravings, and creating space to finally feel more in control. But medication alone doesn’t address everything. The emotional, behavioural and psychological layers still need attention. Habits, stress responses, self-belief, identity, and the relationship you have with food don’t simply disappear because appetite has changed. My role is to support you through the parts of this journey that medication doesn’t reach.

The Part No One Talks About

For some, GLP-1 treatment feels like a saviour. But what happens when it creates shifts you didn’t expect? Weight loss is not just physical. It impacts how you see yourself, how others respond to you, and how you move through your life. You might find yourself:
None of this means you’re doing anything wrong. It means you’re human. Even positive change needs to be processed. You may need to pause, breathe, and make sense of everything shifting — physically, emotionally, and psychologically. This work gives you the space to do that.

What’s Really Going On?

GLP-1 medications shift how your body signals hunger — but they don’t automatically change:

Your brain may still be reacting from old survival patterns, even when appetite is quieter.
And for some people, the physical side effects — headaches, nausea, light-headedness, disrupted
digestion — add another layer of uncertainty. These reactions can feel unsettling, and it’s natural to
feel worried or out of sync during this adjustment phase.
You’re not overreacting.
Your system is recalibrating.
This is exactly why emotional and behavioural support matters during GLP-1 treatment. Your brain
needs time, guidance and steadiness while your body changes.

Why Solution Focused Hypnotherapy Works So Well With GLP-1 Treatment

When life feels overwhelming or when old habits try to pull you back, the primitive brain takes over — the part responsible for fight, flight, and old coping strategies. This part reacts quickly and emotionally, driving patterns such as overeating, self-criticism, or all-or-nothing thinking. GLP-1 medication may change appetite, but it doesn’t automatically calm the primitive brain. Solution Focused Hypnotherapy helps activate the intellectual brain — the part responsible for clarity, calm reasoning, rational thinking and positive change. When this part takes the lead, you’re able to:

Hypnosis deepens this shift.

In a relaxed state, your brain becomes more open to forming new neural pathways — healthier, calmer patterns that support long-term change. GLP-1 supports the body. Solution Focused Hypnotherapy supports the brain. Together, they help change feel natural, stable and sustainable.

A Note on My Role

I’m not medically trained in GLP-1 treatment, and I can’t advise on doses, protocols or side effects — that remains the role of your prescribing clinician. I’m also not here to “fix” you. What I can offer is meaningful support as you navigate this new phase of your life. Through my own research and CPD training, this is an area I’ve explored with genuine interest — not medically, but through the behavioural, emotional and neurological lens. I understand how these medications can shift your habits, identity, confidence and your relationship with food. Whether you’re taking your medication as prescribed, exploring microdosing, or adjusting your approach in your own way — that’s personal to you. I’m not here to judge it. I’m here to support your mind and nervous system as your body changes.

With a blend of gentle talking therapy and hypnotherapy, we can work together to:

And while I can’t guarantee specific results — because every mind and body responds differently — what I can reassure you of is this: most people notice steady, meaningful shifts. Not dramatic overnight changes, but real improvements in how they think, feel and respond. The nervous system settles. Confidence strengthens. Old patterns loosen. The small, consistent changes often become the most powerful. Your body may be changing — but your mind deserves support too.

What We Can Work On Together

This work can support you with:

What Sessions Look Like

Our sessions are calm, steady and focused on lowering the brain’s danger response. You will learn:
There is no revisiting trauma. No analysing flare-ups in detail. No judgement.Just practical, calming support that helps your brain and skin find balance.

How the Sessions Work

Each session begins with gentle talking therapy. This helps you understand why your brain is reacting the way it is — and how everyday stresses or emotional triggers may be setting off internal alarms. We work to activate the intellectual brain, so you feel more in control and less driven by reactive patterns. Then, during Solution Focused Hypnotherapy, you enter a deeply relaxed state where the subconscious mind is more open to forming new, supportive patterns. This is where we:
This process is calm, supportive and forward-focused — helping you move towards long-term, sustainable change.

Is This You?

If this resonates, you’re not alone — and you’re in the right place.
