Menopause & Perimenopause Support Therapy

Introduction

Menopause. For some, it hits like a train. For others, it’s gradual—or it may even pass without you noticing much. It affects everyone differently, and no two women’s experiences are the same. The changes can show up in many ways—mood swings, hot flashes, irritability, weight gain, loss of energy, changes in sex drive, lower motivation, or even feeling more sensitive in relationships. Physical symptoms can include skin changes, hair thinning, or digestive changes, as dropping oestrogen can slow gut mobility. The list is long, varied, and deeply personal.

Do you recognise these symptoms?

You may find yourself trawling the internet, reading peer experiences, searching for a magic cure— or wondering if what you’re feeling is “normal.” You are not alone, and what you’re experiencing is real. Symptoms can show up physically, emotionally, and mentally, leaving you exhausted, frustrated, or unsure how to manage day-to-day life.

What we know

Science tells us that these changes are driven largely by shifts in hormones, particularly oestrogen, which affect not just your body but your brain.

Understanding the why behind your symptoms is key. This is where Solution-Focused
Hypnotherapy can help.

How I can help you

In our sessions, I will help you understand the natural physical and chemical changes happening in your brain and body. This understanding can help you see why you are experiencing certain symptoms and guide you to notice what changes you can make to feel a little easier day-to-day. I work with your brain, gently supporting it to respond in ways that can ease symptoms and bring clarity. While I cannot guarantee results, most people notice a difference as they begin to work with their brain’s natural patterns. This gentle, natural approach helps your brain and body find support, allowing you to feel more in control and calmer in daily life.

What hypnotherapy can do

Hypnotherapy sessions work with both your conscious and subconscious mind. In trance, your subconscious mind can slow down, calm racing thoughts, and respond to new, helpful patterns. This can help:

What sessions look like

I will help you in our sessions to feel relaxed and supported.

Initial consultation

we explore how your brain is responding to hormonal and physical changes. This gives clarity about why you might be experiencing mood swings, hot flashes, irritability, low energy, or changes in motivation. Understanding this can make your symptoms feel more manageable.

Sessions

In our regular sessions, I support you in noticing small shifts in how you feel, helping you work with your brain’s natural patterns. These sessions are personalised to you and your pace, focusing on supporting your brain and body gently

Trance sessions

I guide your subconscious mind to help you feel calmer, clearer, and more able to cope with both physical and emotional symptoms. During trance, tension can ease, thoughts slow, and a new perspective can emerge, helping you respond in ways that feel easier day to day.
All sessions are completely confidential. I am a member of AFSFH, BPS, CPHT, and CNH, which means I follow strict professional and ethical guidelines, so you can feel safe and supported throughout.
